SEC Sets 2026 Filing Schedule for AFS and GIS Submissions

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially released the filing schedule for corporations’ Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and General Information Sheets (GIS) for 2026.

On February 11, 2026, the SEC issued Memorandum Circular No. 9, Series of 2026, outlining the specific timelines and procedures for submission during the 2026 filing season.

All covered corporations are required to submit their AFS and GIS through the SEC’s Electronic Filing and Submission Tool (eFAST). Reports that are not yet accepted via eFAST must be filed through the iMessage Online Ticketing System at imessage.sec.gov.ph.

Corporations are advised to review the official schedule carefully and prepare submissions well ahead of the prescribed deadlines. Late or non-filing may result in penalties, administrative sanctions, or compliance issues that could affect corporate standing.
